The made-to-measure coir mat – Natural – 17mm effortlessly catches coarse and fine dirt from shoes and keeps your floor clean. The natural coir look gives your entrance a robust, warm feel.

The top layer is made of 100% natural coir yarn, making the mat strong and durable. Thanks to the sturdy vinyl backing, the mat stays firmly in place. With a thickness of 17 mm, the mat removes both fine and coarse dirt from your shoes.

Your mat is made to measure, accurate to the millimetre, so it fits your spot perfectly. Because the mat has no pattern, it does not matter which measurement you use as the width or the length; the length can therefore also be the width and vice versa.

Please note: not suitable for vinyl (PVC) floors or poured floors. The backing contains plasticisers that can cause permanent discolouration of the floor. If you have such a floor, please choose a plasticiser-free mat.

Please note: due to its natural properties, the mat may show slight variation in structure and colour, which adds to its authentic character.

Frequently Asked Questions

A moisture-absorbing doormat is designed specifically to soak up moisture. Its fibres are softer and more densely woven, so they absorb water well and keep your floor dry.

A dirt-scraping doormat, by contrast, is designed to sweep dirt and sand off your soles. This mat has coarser, sturdier fibres that brush the dirt loose before you step inside.

Always measure all four sides of the space where the mat will be installed, as walls and window frames aren't always perfectly straight. If the area has corners or an unusual shape, measure the maximum length and width of the recess. This way, you can have the mat cut slightly wider and then trim the corners yourself later, ensuring complete coverage.

Think carefully about where the mat will be placed and how the space is used. A mat by the front door has to cope with more dirt and moisture than one in the hallway. Also pay attention to the floor: with a vinyl or poured floor, a plasticiser-free mat is important to prevent discolouration, while on a stone floor a standard anti-slip backing is sufficient. In a busy household or in wet weather, a mat with strong fibres and high water absorption is the best choice. Finally, choose the right type: a moisture-absorbing doormat for moisture, a dirt-scraping doormat for dirt, or a combination of both.

For a vinyl or poured floor, a plasticiser-free doormat is the best choice. This mat contains no plasticisers in its backing, so there is no risk of discolouration or a reaction with the floor. On these floor types, always use a plasticiser-free mat with an anti-slip backing, such as our Profit moisture-absorbing doormat, which is made specifically for vinyl and poured floors.

Yes, that's always possible. You can easily cut the mat to size using a sharp knife through the back of the mat, so it fits perfectly where you want to place it.

That's very understandable! That's why you can order colour samples from us before buying a complete mat. This way, you can view, feel, and compare the samples at home first. This way, you'll know for sure which colour and material best suits your interior and floor, and you always make the right purchase.
